As one of it's founders, Tuckahoe Youth Football and Cheerleading Association is excited to announce our expanded involvement with the West Richmond Gridiron Youth Football League. This will allow us to offer the opportunity for an additional 40 athletes to play competitive football in the 2006 season.
The GYFL will match athletes with equal size, skill level and experience between the ages of 10 and 13. The league will consist of 8 teams playing a 7 game schedule plus playoff seeding for all teams. Tuckahoe will have 2 GYFL teams, complete with cheerleaders. Our Tuckahoe teams will play other west end associations you are already familiar with against teams that are evenly matched. Our goal is to provide increased playing time for each child while accommodating the increased interest in playing organized football in our area.

Tuckahoe is looking to field one midget team and 2 peewee teams for Gridiron this year. Games will be played at Colligiate and Goochland Fields most Saturdays with some Monday night games at Tuckahoe, Kanawha and Western.
