As Virginia celebrates VA250 and reflects on the people, places, and stories that have shaped our Commonwealth, the Tuckahoe Tomahawks are celebrating a milestone of our own.
For more than six decades, the Tuckahoe Tomahawks have been developing young athletes through football and cheer. Generations of players have learned lessons that extend far beyond the field—teamwork, perseverance, leadership, discipline, and community.
While our look is changing, our purpose remains the same.
Our refreshed brand honors the rich tradition of the Tomahawks while embracing the future of youth sports. Every element of our new identity was thoughtfully designed to reflect where we've been, who we are today, and where we're headed as an organization.
Our Past
The Tuckahoe name has deep roots in Henrico County and Virginia's history. For generations, families have gathered around youth sports, building lifelong friendships and a community centered on service, teamwork, and pride. Thousands of athletes have proudly worn the Tomahawks name, and their legacy continues to inspire every new generation.
Our Present
Today, the Tomahawks continue to grow as one of Central Virginia's premier youth football and cheer organizations. From first-time flag football players to competitive tackle football and cheer athletes, we remain committed to providing every child with a safe, positive environment to learn, compete, and belong.
Our Future
Our modernized brand reflects our commitment to the next generation. With the addition of Girls Flag Football, expanded programming, new resources for families, and a renewed investment in our athletes, we're building an organization that honors its history while creating opportunities for the future.

Everything we do is made possible by the dedication of volunteers, the generosity of sponsors, and the support of families who believe in building confident athletes, strong character, and a stronger community—one team, one family.
